Chief of the Clique Winner – Jan 2023

by Admin in Competitions on February 2, 2023

It is our sheer delight to announce the winner of the Chief of the Clique competition for January 2023 for the writing category.

This coveted position goes to a beautiful poem by Segun Balogun titled ‘My Passion Spent’

In his own words he describes this piece as follows:

‘Gold contributes to my healing. Life gives me time to heal…been healing all of my life’.

This beautiful poem is a string of lines of sober reflections, of a man who has been through the crevices of life but is reinvigorated with a new and determined focus to strive on…to heal.
