Drawing on the huge success of the #IAmNigeria creative competition, we would like to keep the creative fire burning in the Nigerian youth as we strive to build a one stop community and marketplace for creatives in Nigeria.
It is off this vision that we are pleased to announce the #ChiefOfTheClique competition on CreativeNaija.
Every single month* starting from the 1st of February 2022, we would be giving a cash prize of 10, 000 naira each to the chief of the clique of each community on CreativeNaija: Music, art and writing! The chief of each of these cliques is the member with the highest number of original, quality content on the site with the greatest social engagement and sales.
How to win
Step 1: Please and please, read and digest the information on how to use Creative Naija which has been put together to show you how to use the website. With growth and sponsorships we hope to make the site even easier to use but for now we would continue to build on what we have with the resources available.
Step 2: Upload at least one original work on the site every month and get family and friends to sign up on the site, share and comment on your work (s). The winner for each category would be original works that generate the most traffic, engagement and makes the most money for its author. Yes! We are pretty much offering to pay you cash the more we see you are profiting off your craft via CreativeNaija! Again, this would be a good time to read ‘How to use CreativeNaija‘ to learn how to make money on the site.
To make it easier to keep track of things and keep things organized, kindly send your index/primary entry for each month to submissions@creativenaija.com. Please title the mail as follows:
Title of your entry-ChiefOfTheClique-Month/Year
e.g, if the primary entry you want us to take note of for the month of February 2022 is titled ‘Awesome site’, send us a picture of the artwork/song/writing via email and title the mail as follows:
Awesome Site-ChiefOfTheClique-02/22. Feel free to send in as many entries per month as you like. However you can not send in the same entry for separate months. The goal of this is to keep on fanning your creative spirit so you constantly produce at least one brand new piece every month. Trust us, this is one major key to the growth of your craft
Each qualifying entry must have been uploaded on the website and sent to the email above before midnight on the 20th of every month that the competition is running.

Terms & Conditions
We ask that your primary piece for that month is original and not published any where else in either print or electronic form for the period of the month you want it to be considered.
The decision of our judges are final and can not be contested.
Please do go through the terms and conditions of CreativeNaija so you’re up to speed on the terms and conditions for using this service
*The plan is to keep up this competition indefinitely but we reserve the right to stop it or change the terms and conditions at any time if we see a need to do so.
Our goal is that cash prizes get transferred to winners within 48 hours of the end of each month.
